Good bread takes time. Every loaf is mixed, shaped and baked in small batches, with plenty of patience and a little bit of love.
Classic sourdough is Anna’s regular offering, baked fresh each week in small batches.
Naturally fermented, with a crisp crust and a soft, open crumb. A lovely loaf for the everyday table.
Baked fresh in Wickford. Collection arranged for Saturday morning.
Wheat flour, water, rye flour, sourdough starter culture, salt and rice flour.
Contains wheat and rye (gluten).
Other bakes may appear periodically or be available by request. What’s offered can vary from week to week, so please check availability before ordering.

A small-batch treat from Anna’s oven, available for £2.50 each or £9 for a pack of four.
Wheat flour, milk chocolate chips, sourdough starter discard, unsalted butter, caster sugar, light brown sugar, egg yolks, bicarbonate of soda, vanilla extract, baking powder and sea salt flakes.
Contains wheat (gluten), milk and egg.

Golden, soft-centred rolls with a lightly crisp crust. These aren’t part of the regular weekly bake, but you can ask for a pack when placing a request. £3.50 per pack of five.
Flour, water, yeast, salt and sugar.
Other occasional bake: Japanese milk bread, when offered.

That’s how Anna’s Artisan Oven grew: one loaf shared at a time. Now Anna bakes small batches from home in Wickford, with sourdough at the heart of the oven.
Order requests for Saturday collection open each Sunday and close at 10pm on Wednesday, or earlier if the bake is fully booked. Choose a preferred 30-minute collection slot between 9:30 and 11:30 in Wickford.
